My granddaughter is five years old and loves taking Karate from Mr. Murphy. He is a great teacher - patient, tolerant and relates very well to children of all ages. I have watched him work with children and, as a former teacher myself, I am very impressed with his skill and talent as a teacher. He works to build self -confidence and discipline in his students and they hold him in very high regard. Knowing that motivation is a key to learning, Mr. Murphy is a master at taking every student where they are and motivating them to find success in the martial arts.
